the best newsletter niche

I realized this yesterday.

Had a meeting yesterday with a guy who runs a coaching program.

Decent following on X and LinkedIn.
He uses his newsletter to convert followers into buyers.

Nothing crazy—just a 30-day email sequence.

1 in 40 subscribers convert.
That’s a 2.5% conversion rate.

And that’s not unusual.

I see 2–3% conversions all the time, whether you’re selling a $29 course or a $290 product.

So if you’re planning to monetize your newsletter with your own product, here’s the key:

Price it high enough so you can afford to grow with paid ads.

Let’s say your product is $290.
At a 2.5% conversion rate, you’re making $7.25 per subscriber.

Which means you can spend up to $7.25 to acquire one, break even on the front end and still have room to print profit on the back end.

Now imagine you’ve got a high-ticket service upsell sitting behind that.

$5K… $10K… even $30K.

That’s where the real money is made.

That’s exactly how some of my clients operate.

Our ads bring in subscribers qualified to buy their offer for $2–$10 each.
They make back their ad spend on the front-end product…
Then bank heavy profits on the back-end high ticket.

And I realized that most of them are in the best niche:

Financial / money-making space. Which just happens to be the best niche for selling high-ticket.

Why? Because it’s evergreen.

People will always want to make more money.

And if you can genuinely prove that your offer has helped other people 5–10x their income?

You’ll never have trouble selling at a premium price point.

Best regards,
