Their newsletter wasn’t the business. It was just one of many ways to bring in customers.

They knew exactly what their end goal was: getting readers to buy their offer.

And when you start with the end goal in mind, everything else gets easier.

You can visualize the whole funnel because you’re just reverse-engineering from that final step.

Start by asking yourself:

  • What is your offer?

  • What does your typical buyer look like?

Then think about this:

What’s something your buyer would enjoy reading, that builds your credibility, and naturally leads them to your offer?

That’s your newsletter.

Once you have that, the only thing left to do is grow it—with the right people.
