How to scale Meta ads to $100k+/mo

My private answer to how this financial newsletter should scale their Meta ads.

Yesterday a trading newsletter owner in a private Discord I'm in asked how to scale from $30k to $100k+/month on Meta.

Here's what I told him.

First — and most people won't like this answer — sometimes the only thing standing between you and 3x your current spend is the balls to just do it.

But since that's not actionable...

A few things that actually move the needle:

  • Creative diversity isn't optional at that level. You need ads pulling in swing traders, long-term investors, small-cap guys — separate funnels, separate hooks, separate everything. One message to rule them all is a $30k/mo strategy.

  • Tracking is everything. If you don't know exactly which ads are producing revenue — not leads, revenue — you're flying blind and scaling on gut feel.

  • Once tracking's solid, run ABO campaigns. Meta will optimize for CPLs. You need to optimize for ROAS. Those are not the same thing. Let the data tell you where to push budget, not the algorithm.

  • Match your ads to your best offers. Pulling in AI stock chasers when your top offer is swing trading creates a mismatch and your ROAS will suffer.

  • Don't let one narrative carry your whole budget. Market sentiment shifts fast. Diversify your storylines so one mood swing doesn't crater your numbers overnight.

  • Avoid negative trigger words Meta hates — but that's its own email.

Anyway.

But even with all of this in order, some people will never have the guts to scale.

Sometimes you just have to send it.

All the best,

Gunnar
