5 Bullets on Newsletters #5
This guy is making $15K/month with his 20K audience.
Hey there,
It’s that time of the week again — let’s go:

We’ve been using this formula pretty consistently in our agency lately.
I stumbled upon a game changer for newsletter ads.
It's a formula for ad creatives (using AI) that's consistently out-performing other ads.
Here's the 4-step formula:

Did you know there’s a bunch of newsletters out there sending out daily quizes/Trivias?
I’ve met with some of them lately. And one was a client as well.
There’s Trivia newsletters for every niche: science, political, Christian.
Why Trivias? Because the subscribers are clickers by default — which are often the most valuable subscribers.
How do they make money? Usually dedicated emails to get people to respond to surveys and political polls etc.

Andrew Wilkinson stated that he’s already making $15k/month with his newsletter that takes 15 mins/week to write.
Just goes to show that if you’re already an authority on Twitter, having a newsletter is a no-brainer way to monetize your audience.
He’s writing to a bunch of high earners about expensive course/products he finds cool and interesting — sounds familiar, right? No need to reinvent the wheel.

Smart Nonsense is a newsletter by the Youtube Shorts kings @HenryBelcaster and @DylanJardon.
Their newsletter content is unique and refreshing, packed with a bunch of interesting stories.
I’m always left with a feeling of “that was awesome” after reading it.

I was listening to a podcast with Matt Gray the other day, and here’s something interesting that stood out to me.
He purchased a blog that was already getting traffic and started collecting emails to build his media business that today spans millions of readers.
That got me thinking: Newsletters are easier to monetize than blogs, while having much more audience security (Google can take your blog traffic away).
There’s probably a bunch of blogs out there getting a lot of traffic, but under-monetized and selling at a cheap price because of the traffic risk.
Could make for some interesting micro-PE move.
